🌍DO NOT BURY WHAT GOD GAVE YOU

Don’t bury the gift God gave you. Every talent, voice, and passion is handpicked by Heaven to bless others. Discover how to live faithfully with what God entrusted to you, for His Kingdom and His glory.

A Christian message about using God’s gifts faithfully — Do not bury what God gave you.

God didn’t call you to bury your gift—He called you to use it. Be faithful with what He placed in your hands. 🌍✝️ #WriteToGod ✍️ #LetterToGod ✍️

In a world full of noise, ambition, and applause, there is a sacred call that echoes through Scripture:

Be faithful with what God gave you.

Do not bury it. Do not hide it. Do not call it small.

What if the very gift you are hesitant to use—the one you second-guess, overlook, or underestimate—was handpicked by Heaven itself? What if it was meant to heal, encourage, or awaken someone across the world?

Matthew 25:14–30, the Parable of the Talents, is not merely a lesson about money or business profit. It is a message of divine trust, sacred responsibility, and eternal accountability.

Every Gift Matters in God’s Hands

In the parable, each servant received something. Not the same, but something. The Master did not demand perfection; He expected stewardship.

Likewise, God has placed within you something of eternal value:

  • A voice that speaks life.
  • A heart that intercedes in silence.
  • A gift of wisdom or creativity.
  • Influence within your home, workplace, or community.
  • A passion that burns quietly in the secret place.
  • Even a habit of daily gratitude that honors Him in hidden ways.

Whatever it is, it was not given to be buried.

Heaven Sees What Man Overlooks

The world often praises what is loud, flashy, and popular. But Heaven values what is faithful, pure, and consistent.

No one may applaud the unseen acts of love.
No stage may spotlight the faithful servant in the background.
But Heaven records everything sown in obedience and offered in reverence.

You may not feel “qualified.”
You may not be “loud” or “known.”
But God never asked for platform—He asked for faithfulness.

The true measure is not how much you’ve been given, but what you do with what He placed in your hands.

Gratitude is the Beginning. Faithfulness is the Response.

God is glorified not only when we say “thank You,” but when we live out gratitude by using what He gave us—for His Kingdom, not our comfort.

Your gift is not meant to stay buried. It was meant to be multiplied.

  • Your words can reach a soul in despair.
  • Your prayers can shift an atmosphere.
  • Your creativity can inspire generations.
  • Your kindness can ripple across nations.

Let this be a global call to every believer:
Open your hand. Unearth the buried gift. Let the world see what Heaven deposited in you—not for your praise, but for His glory alone.

Reflection

Are you burying what God gave you in fear, or are you offering it back to Him in faith?

The servant who hid his talent lost everything—not because he lacked ability, but because he refused responsibility.

May this be the day you choose faithfulness.
May this be the day you release what God has entrusted to you.

And when you do, the Master’s voice will echo through eternity:
“Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:21)

Dr. Milanya Soltero Osngao, a.k.a Milanya Writer, is a dentist and a gratitude writer. During her clinical years in college, she first began experiencing dreams, some of which later unfolded in her real life. These experiences have shaped her faith journey and guided her, especially in making bold decisions in her life. At times, she would question the Lord, asking why such dreams came to her, often during seasons when she felt helpless. As she matured in her faith, she came to understand that God can use dreams and visions to guide, help, and protect His people. These sacred encounters made her aware that God still speaks through dreams and visions, just as His Word declares in Acts 2:17: “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.” A SEASON OF BREAKING AND REDIRECTION At the beginning of 2024, Milanya prepared for what she believed would be a breakthrough in her professional life. To prepare, she invested heavily—financially and academically—believing she was paving the way for success in her professional career. But instead of the breakthrough that she expected, she then found herself walking through trial after trial. In her brokenness, she sought solitude, and in that sacred silence, kneeling before God, she asked Him to bring her through. What she did not realize at that time was that God was not breaking her down but redirecting and aligning her. During this period, she found comfort and guidance through the messages of a globally known spiritual mentor she often listened to during difficult times. One message in particular stood out: the importance of writing down five things to be grateful for every day. Inspired, however, Milanya began addressing her gratitude directly to God instead of simply writing it down. She literally turned them into gratitude letters to God. Even in her breaking, she faithfully wrote five things she was thankful for each day. In those long months of solitude—writing to Him—God was already healing her and shaping her heart, though she did not recognize it at first. Months later, she realized she was no longer attached to the plans she once clung to. For someone who is a naturally shy person and stays away from social media, and her only main focus was on thriving in her career as a dental professional, unexpectedly, her path has been redirected. God led her onto a path outside her comfort zone - something she had never planned or imagined. This was the birth of her online presence. A MESSAGE Milanya’s personal rock is verse 1 Thessalonians 5:18: “Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” For her, thanksgiving is not only for the mountaintops but also for the valleys. Through it all, she has learned that what we often see as breaking is God’s molding to align us with His plan. To God belongs our daily thanksgiving.
